Mark Schaffel has worked with a variety of artists and producers, including R&B writer/performer Andrea Martin, Angela Bofill, Keith Washington, Keith Diamond, Donna Summer, Jeffrey Lesser, Arrested Development, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the Gunagzhou Symphony Orchestra, the China Philharmonic, Speech, New York Voices, Tremaine Hawkins and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Mark’s love of pop, jazz, rock, and classical music has informed his versatile approach at the piano. His admiration for everyone from Chopin and Herbie Hancock to Billy Joel and Dr. John can be heard in his playing.
From stages to studios, CR Melberg has enjoyed a wide array of experiences in his 30 years as a professional bassist. He has worked extensively on national and international Broadway tours including Cats, Les Miserables, Grease, Evita, Fame, West Side Story and My Fair Lady. CR has also performed with Dionne Warwick, Tony Bennett, Al Martino, Bernadette Peters, The Lettermen plus blues guitarists Walter “Wolfman” Washington and Pappa Chubby. While living in Berlin, Germany CR backed artists such as Udo Lindenberg and Tic Tac Toe, and also wrote arrangements for various ensembles. CR is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Music education thru Boston University.
Michael is an in demand performer, producer and educator. Notable acts include: Ricky Van Shelton, Jon Von Boehm, Vassar Clements, Bonnie Bramlett, David "Fathead" Newman, the Nashville Jazz Orchestra, The Justin Kalk Orchestra, Nina of Neptune, and Greenland. Michael Green received his Bachelor's in Music from Belmont University in Nashville, TN where he studied with world renowned drummer, Chester Thompson. Michael was then awarded a fellowship to study with world famous jazz drummer, Danny Gottlieb, at the University of South Florida where he received a Masters in Music with an emphasis in Jazz Performance. Michael has three titles published by Mel Bay, two of which are co-authored by Danny Gottlieb.
